A few year back was going to assist a session for Tillie when he came to town... but Lil Yatchy never made it to the studio 🙃 so just hung out with Tillie while he was working on a Migos mix

The end advice says everything : keep your mixing true to what it must feel. If it must be raw, not so polished dead-mono sound, go for it.

Man for years i was wondering how they made 808's hit so hard and have waves, Plugin alliance, IKMULTIMIDIA, and still couldn't achieve my 808 sounding at least This Video is a game changer

We need more content like this, really helping out the industry, my mixes went from a 5 /10 to a 10-10

6:34 As a bass head, i appreciate that. The sub box in my car is tuned to 34hz so i love the lows.

"really you just have to let the record speak to you"....that's exactly what I do when I'm producing...sometimes I might be in the middle of making a hot beat and I'll just grab my lunch, go sit on the floor and let it loop on repeat until the music tells me exactly what is the next element it needs

I think the big difference in his mixes vs amateurs is he can hear the tonal changes every plug-in gives each sound and tweak it to his preference. Numerous small changes that make a big difference overall is the goal here. He barely touches a lot of plugins but they remain in the mix to change the tone. He either has perfect listening skills or his studio is perfectly calibrated or a combination of both.
