It’s called mineral calcification and it’s actually pretty common not something that special

All of the hype surrounding the structural integrity of bridges in London starts to make better sense when you consider London's hammer being located in Texas by some bloke and my fair lady.

The hammer is not a mystery. You can make coal. Heat organic material without oxygen and it makes charcoal compressed charcoal is coal so burning charcoal under a lot of rock makes coal. Pressure makes heat, wet organic material composted makes heat. So a hammer buried in composted material then pressed could burn but with no oxygen then pressed more would turn to coal. It's not a mystery

There were definitely older civilizations before us. There must have been multiple (?) near extinction events before. Some say this has something to do with the periodic reversal of the earth's magnetic poles. I subscribe to this even though it is irrelevant to my very short life on earth

Our scientists don’t know as much as they believe they do. Sadly, this precludes developing theories from available evidence. It’s simply a hubris from not being hungry or curious enough. The guy graham Hancock seems to embody the lightheartedness of discovery and interpretation. . Hope he prevails.

Who’s to say the humans have risen and fallen many times before. It might be a relic of a similar but dead society like ours 😊

No reason for it to be fake by the couple who found it. How would they know how to make the wooden handle into coal or go through that effort over time. Also charcoal is not coal.
