People don't need to be spraying for mosquitos they need to be planting lavender and other hospitable plants in their yards

I think it's the insecticides. I'm in the midwest & a few years ago we had the most monarch butterflies I've seen in years. 🦋 🦋🦋 And then the city sprayed for mosquitoes. The butterflies died enmassse overnight. 😥😥

Don't worry, just defund scientific research, and we won't have to hear about this again!

Draining wetlands and spraying glyphosates here in Colorado. Butterflies used to be bountiful here 10 years ago.

We need more ways to raise local caterpillars for our area to release.
It needs to be as inexpensive as possible too so, ore will do it.
I think using the public library systems already in place would help.

The tulsa library already has a seed library so why not add pollinator seeds & even loan out the equipment to raise caterpillars. Or sell it at cost to folks.
By going through something like the library it would make it much easier to insure you're only getting ones appropriate for where you live.

This got me all ready to plant some milkweed in my yard, then I saw it is poisonous to dogs.

HARK! Let it be known across the land— the decline of the butterflies shall not be met with silence nor surrender! 🌿🦋

No longer shall our fields be barren, nor our gardens sterile! Let every soul take up their tools, sow the flowers of rebirth, and cast aside the poisons of destruction. Let the monarchs find their way home! Let the swallowtails dance once more!

From this day forth, every forgotten patch of earth shall be a sanctuary, every flower planted a declaration of defiance! We are the stewards of the skies, the guardians of the winged ones—AND WE SHANT HESITATE.

RIDE FORTH, CHAMPIONS OF POLLINATION! The fate of the fluttering kingdom rests in our hands! 👑🔥🦋

Not surprised but who will do anything with the degree of habitat fragmentation we continue to perpetuate
