Charleston residents evacuate to escape Hurricane Matthew

Much of the South Carolina coast is under hurricane watch. The state is expected to start feeling Hurricane Matthew's effects by Friday night. About a half million people along the state's coast have been ordered to evacuate, including Charleston. Errol Barnett reports on the preparations and huge exodus.

I was in that mess yesterday, but the other lane was closed the whole time and i never saw a car on it for 3 hours, that it took me from Charleston to Columbia. The traffic eased beyond Columbia and we were able to regain speed, on toward Virginia.

here in FL we are like what ever .... we get this all the time but hay let it snow and we dont know what to do or how to get around .... any cat 1 storm that not setup for it would get hurt bad .. here it take a cat 3 or more to see much
