In this video, I start with a blank SFML project and, step-by-step, show you how to create a basic gameplay loop, where the player can run around and kill a zombie with his axe.

In order to do this, we'll learn about how to draw a sprite, how to handle player input, and use some vector math to do movement and collision detection.

For those using SFML 3 the command for the keyboard will be sf::Keyboard::Key::W instead of sf::Keyboard::W kept getting an error

I know its so basic, bit i didnt get that, why do we normalize? what happens if we normalize? and what if we don't?

Lol, I think the only reason why your sprite moved so fast at around 18:15 is because of how fast your computer is😂😂 Mine moved way slower than yours😂😂
