XGimi MoGo Pro | Android-Powered Portable Projector

Unboxing and first review of the XGimi MoGo Pro, an Android TV portable projector boasting autofocus, FHD output and a mighty 10400mAh battery, all crammed into a reasonably light and dinky frame.

Chinese manufacturer XGimi is one of the biggest global bodies when it comes to projector tech, and the MoGo Pro is its latest launch for 2020. This premium compact device may look rather functional, but it's a pleasure to use thanks to the automatic focus and keystone alignment. Compared with rivals from the likes of Anker and Epson, you get some strong features and specs for a respectable UK price.

The Full HD video output is crisp and colourful, even when blow up to close to 100-inches. Android TV provides a slick, customisable UI, and full Google Play support - although Netflix needs to be side-loaded through a technical issue, and there's no Amazon Prime Video support.

I have the pro one, it is my second one because unfortunately the led blew within 3 months of my first one, but I loved it so much I took a chance it was one of those things and purchased a second one. They are a fantastic mini projector..

Damn, that's nifty. Nothing I can imagine you'd use causally but it's definitely something to impress your classier colleagues like the people he mentioned in the Razr review who'd actually get the device to show off their bank balance.

There is actually a simple workaround for the Amazon Prime video and Netflix issue, the projector has a HDMI port so what you can do is simply connect a Google chromecast to it and you will be able to stream Netflix from your phone to the projector.

Thumb down for me for this video, as it mainly talked about the android tv feature of the projector, and never talk about the picture quality. Most of us get projector because we want bigger picture, not android tv. So when you talk about a projector, please always talk about picture. Picture >> nice to have features. LG has a range of portable smart projectors, you can always compare them.

Hi, recently bought mogo pro projector. I tried to connect mogo pro to external Samsung sound bar via Bluetooth. But mogo pro is not able to detect external speakers. Is it something am I missing?

Hi, we just bought Xgimi Mogo, but I am not happy with the pixelated screen. Is it normal? It is said that it can be used as a presentation device for work, but the txt on the screen is hardly visible, it is pixelated. When you watch films it seems ok, but when you are using the menu, it is all pixelated.
