Xgimi - Mogo Pro - Full walkthrough Review [Xiaomify]

The Xgimi Mogo Pro is a super small projector that is super portable because it's also battery powered. Is it any good? Let's find out!

What I have really liked about the Xgimi pro is the size. As it's that lightweight and compact it's super easy to bring along and use wirelessly. I did find that its brightness is not the strongest, so it's not very suitable for use during the day if you have strong sunlight shining in.

It's also not the strongest and best processor on the market, but it did manage to do all the things I typically use it for. I mostly play some nintendo switch (connected over HDMI) and I personally just mostly watch Youtube and Netflix and both these apps can connect over WiFi to stream content.

Overall I did enjoy the Xgimi as I have been using it for over a month now, and it's been super easy to bring along and super small which I think is its strongest selling point.

I also noticed that Xgimi has just recently launched the "Halo" which looks quite similar to the Mogo Pro, but has an 800 lumens brightness and this one also looks super interesting so perhaps I might have a look at that one in the future as well.

Is there a way to adjust the image size via the projector alone ? To make the image size smaller while having projector far away ?
Not physically bring the projector closer or further away from the wall.

When will I be able to update? After buying it for so long, I haven't updated it yet. Netflix can't be installed at all. I use your method to watch Netflix, and the picture quality is very poor.

I have their Z6, it's not portable as in it needs to be plugged in all the time. But if you want to bring it to your friend's house or to a trip, then it surely is portable and compact enough. The hardware is great, build quality is FANTASTIC (I had it dropped from over 2 meters to a concrete, and it has literally 0 damage) but the software kinda sucks. I only get 1 firmware update until today and a lot of things aren't as smooth as expected (e.g. to install from external drive, you have to rename the .apk as .apk.1). I wish they could backport Android TV certificate for Z6 and replace the custom UI to get a smoother software experience instead of making their users tinkering with Russian hacks to make it work better.

That's actually quite interesting and the prize is not bad at all here in Thailand. Been thinking to get a tv for the bedroom, but this could be another option.
