Just FYI I crashed my mini into a pool. I thought it was a goner. After diving in freezing cold water, I grabbed it off the bottom, pulled the battery and let it dry out for 3 days. Still runs great!

I bought mine at Costco a few years ago for 250. Nice instructional video you made. I recently had to repair a broken from arm. The hardest part was separating the plastic shell. The rest was easy.

My brother is a photographer and a photographer friend gave him his old mavic mini to expand into drone photography, messing with his has convinced me to get my own.
I was surprised at its durability and how easy they are to fly, my brother clipped the top of a spruce tree in sport mode while leaving a forest, it seemed to have lost power and fell about 180 feet, it was barely scuffed and 1 prop was a slightly warped

I’ve crashed my original mini a couple of times as well as hit a few things (one was a pine tree branch) where it remained airborne and I was able to bring it home.
On top of that, I’m on the original props!!!! I have used my finger nails to smooth out a few minor flaws in the prop. Blows my mind that it hasn’t destroyed a prop and isn’t out of balance.
Love it and am now looking at the MAVIC 3 Pro and a 107 license.

I have my dji mavic mini 1 it’s been 3 years and still works perfectly fine :)

I've been using the original Mavic Mini for over two years now and it's been able to handle everything I need it to do. I almost upgraded to the mini 3 pro, but to your point, I'd rather crash something that cost around $400 instead of something that's about $1000 or above. Just got to be careful where you are flying and always check weather conditions beforehand. If you do those things then you can make the mavic mini last for a very long time.

I still fly mine and love it. Only use Sport mode in a closed mall parking lot. It's a blast watching it go here to there or chase cars( not that I chase cars). And you will crash, whether your fault or it lost its mind. Start simple and reward yourself by working up.

Bought my Mini Flymore kit back in 2020 and have crashed it twice already lol but I've sent it into DJI for repair no problem. I hardly ever use it unfortunately aside from using it to wear my dog out from chasing it

8:48 in finland (or most of EU) you must register yourself and the drone if it haves an camera, regardless of weight if i remember right so you need to register with the mini

Have had my Mavic Mini for several years. Been tempted to get a Mini 3 but since I’m not into photography or video making whatever I produce seems fine to me. The big plus is the batteries. They require very little maintenance. Charge, put away for several weeks then just fly without the need to charge - OK they will not be fully charged but good enough for a reasonable flight time.
