The only time I saw one was in basic training. then 10 years later on fob Tillman, where we had over 100 of them things all along the perimeter all Command detonated by the OP towers. Then I had never seen one aging.

Also the VC/NVA troops would sneak up to camp, and turn the claymores around then make a sound. That would make the Marines detonate them without knowing the lethal side was facing them. Scary stuff… thinking about getting hit with ur own weapons.
