Why it Would Suck to Know SCP-056

SCP 056 is a Euclid Class anomaly also known as A Beautiful Person.

SCP-056 is a being of variable size, gender, and appearance, which changes in response to the environment around it, especially in regards to living and sentient beings.
These changes in SCP056 will generally occur the moment all people in the area lose focus on the subject, which occurs immediately upon exposure to a new object or person.

056 apparently can't do it's usual shapeshifting stuff with other SCPs, and reacts with either anger or fear when presented with them.

step 1) assemble the best SCP researchers to brain storm a way to kill SCP-682
step 2) make the brainstorm happen within SCP-056 presence without the researchers knowing
step 3) SCP-056 one ups every attending scientist by making a better suggestion that actually works

056 is one of those anomalies many would love to hate, as it has all the discomforts of the average bad egg. Or perhaps the average toxic person on a good day. I'd say at least the Hitler Clone makes violence feel cathartic rather than heartless.

Same can't be said for 056

Imagine this SCP getting contained by simply having a person who is basically immune to it in the same room. "here's my dog" "oh yea, whell now I'm a BETTER dog" "Nah, my dog is still better than you because she is my good girl, you can't replace her"

Basically, just find someone who isn't superficial.

I know someone like this. She came to my school this school year. She has the same name as me. She has the same hair color as me. We played on the same sports team. But she speaks 3 languages, is popular, and has every form of social media imaginable. And worst of all: She started hanging out with some of my best friends so much that they barely had time to acknowledge my existence. They skipped my birthday party to celebrate Halloween with her. One of them quit doing tennis with me because she was already doing other tennis lessons with the annoying person. I've also become the "other one" even though this new person just joined my school, and I've gone to the same school most of my life.

I'm very sorry for ranting. I had to get that out.

Surely you could just trap it in a logic loop? Like what if you constantly had it interacting with a person who genuinely nice, politely and consistently so? Then wouldn’t it be forced to be consistently nice?

One test the Foundation could try is pranking 056. Say if they bring a skilled dancer to compete with it and 056 turns into a twirling ballerina, have someone shine bright light in it's face and spray oil for it to slip on. I bet it won't be so smug then.

Something else that was left out of this video;

The SCP foundation did attempt to examine it with types of monitors rather than cameras, seeing its heat signature and listening, rather than looking.

Using this method, they got absolutely nothing back, as if they didn't exist when they weren't observed.

I wonder what it would do if in that Cadillac/Rolls Royce scenario the person in that Cadillac said to SCP-056, "In an effort to shame me you got an overly decorated BMW that's more expensive to insure, more expensive to repair, and will lose its value faster than a politician's promise. Do you want me to be envious of your wallet or utter stupidity?"
