If you could choose your own superpower, which would it be?

This video assumes that you can’t control any of your powers properly:

Super strength - assumes you have no control over how much strength you exert.
Super speed - assumes your brain and healing remains at a regular human speed.
Telepathy - assumes you have no control over what you hear or see in the person’s head.

superspeed comes with super speed reaction time, just look at the flash. im pretty sure superspeed would come with the requirements to survive it

Actually having money as a superpower would be cool

This video misses the basic premise of super powers,
And that is MAGIC.

Actually, usually when someone gets superspeed, there brain also becomes superfast, so it shouldn't be a problem for it.

Edit: Why do I always gets so much likes in almost every I write X)

Super Speed huh?
I would rather have powers to manipulate time.

Being a comic book fun for years I'm quite disappointed by the lack of research that was thrown into this video... Had you watch the flash or at least justice league, then you'd know that superspeed is not literally your muscles overworking to carry you around fast... The Flash goes almost into a different dimension of timespace where everything is just slower... For everyone else he's running with the speed of light (close enough) while for him he is just walking... So none of the effects described, apply to him...

Super strength: let's say I can bench 60kg for example and a bodybuilder can bench 200kg... We will both apply the same amount of force into a cup to pick it up... He won't break it and I won't drop it... So that point is also irrelevant... However I do agree that it could get out of hand in situations of emotional distress

Reading minds + telepathy: being able to use telepathic forces onto someone also includes thought manipulation (by making the other person think that it was their thought and not your input injected to their subconscious)... You don't need to ace that interview when you can literally create a simulation of it in your boss's mind and make them think that you're proper for employment without saying a word... Also when it comes to other people you can literally shift their opinions and make them like you or search into their mind and acquire the information needed to change your flaws... However, messing with someone's mind doesn't only mean thoughts but live action too. Imagine making someone see you as someone else or not see you at all in their field of view... You can literally be invisible... On the other hand, I yet again agree with the point of the possible massacre that your emotional distress could cause

Edit: syntax mistakes and typos

The problem with this approach to this topic is that it assumes the powers don't come with whatever they need to function. Isn't it ridiculous enough that someone has these powers at all? In comic books, or almost all fiction for that matter, everyone who has super powers is able to physically withstand their own powers. A person with super strength has bones and skin that can withstand their own strength, anyone with super speed is protected in one way or another from physics(they're all ready super fast so they are all ready breaking physics) and is mentally capable of processing their own speed, and so forth.

Controlling your powers is a valid hindrance to discuss, but the self-destruct one can be ignored. If you have Thor's powers, then you can do whatever he does and don't have to worry about the things he doesn't have to worry about.

You guys obviously don’t know how superpowers work 🤔

um im down for super speed, it makes your brain faster as well. Like in the flash, he can super read and do math super fast.

*let's say the flash*
The flash has a superhuman reaction time and information process speed and he also has the speed force to protect him and others. That's why speedsters can unleash the infinite mass punch(while running at the speed of light, they hit their target with the power of a dwarf star) and not break every bone I their body. That's why they don't rip people's heads off when touching them because of the speed force aura

Telepathy is *more* than worth having, seriously

A combination of stopping / turning back time and telephaty would be cool. You can instantly tell if you failed with something/someone and get yourself another try or stop time until you got a solution.

This is why, realistically, Captain America and Ironman are the best choices. Steve is just a normal guy at peak physical and mental potential. Tony is a regular genius without his suit. No day to day problems.
