I think retiring the Segoe typeface as the system font would go quite a way in giving Windows a fresh look and feel. Nothing against the typeface in general but for me it just makes a lot of Windows apps look quite stale having been in use since the mid-2000's. Of course that would mean having to probably select or commission a brand new corporate typeface for everything Microsoft so everything is consistent but who knows.

I don't like the new Start menu for the sole reason that I've already organized mine exactly how I like it. I'm one of the few people who actually liked the tiles, and now they're getting rid of them, meaning I'll have to reorganize my Start menu all over again.
