"We do what we love for the people we love' it's kind of a dream I guess" - doesn't get much better than that.

These people are so hardworking, but they look like they’re having so much fun at the same time. And those dogs are so adorable 😭

I don't know why, but this is one of my favourite episodes this season! What lovely people in Louisiana. They had me grinning from ear to ear.

Hardworking Americans helping to feed the country, having fun and building a successful business. Something you rarely hear about these days from the media. Glad to see this well made, entertaining and informative video.

"What about the smell? Kinda smells like money." I grew up in Houston and my family all lived in Texas City. The smell of the refineries could be overwhelming at times, but when you asked my grandfather what he thought of it he said, "Smells like biscuits and gravy." Those refineries were how he fed his family and he was proud to work there.

I love how Kara and Nate are able to introduce us to such obscure experiences like this yet manage to keep it fun, entertaining and educational at the same time! Its really interesting seeing the movement from catch to plate and to see all the people along the way! Love these kinds of vlogs!

Ok off topic completely to today's video...can I just tell you that throughout the pandemic, anytime I felt hopeless or sad or just needed to feel better, I would pull up one of your videos. Kara your laugh is infectious, yours and Nate's positive outlook, even if things aren't going right (cuz that's reality and balance), is uplifting and encouraging. Nate's sheer determination to push boundaries and limits it's inspiring and energizing. I love your familiar voices, doing fun and bold new things, no matter how big or small, is just a shot in the arm when I need it. So, THANK YOU for doing what you do....I don't know if you can possibly imagine the positive and life line type affect you have on others, but you do and it's so very much appreciated. I know it can be hard at times, but I hope it's equally rewarding as well. <3 #respect

I lived in Louisiana for 1 year when I was 20-21 years old. I’ll be 36 in August. It was by far one of the best years of my life! The food, the people, New Orleans, the scenery, the history, everything about it! I love Louisiana! I haven’t been back since but your video is making me think I need to go back for a visit!

As a native south eastern Texan, this was SO interesting to watch! Grew up eating crawfish, and have eaten them my whole life but I didn't realize this is where they came from and this is how they do it?? Amazing.
