Christians need to stop “claiming” things…

The Charismatic Movement has robbed a lot of sincere Christians of a lot of peace by teaching them that if they simply “claim” something and have enough faith then God will perform as a genie in a bottle for them.

This false belief is built entirely from Romans 4.1

“You have not cus you ask not.” Sometime we don’t automatically get things due to living in a fallen world with evil spirits and principalities which hinders God’s perfect will… “life and death is in the power of the tongue.” James spoke a lot about our tongue/the words coming out of our mouth.
If you can say bad things about yourself and suddenly you start feeling bad and then they actually start manifesting, who’s to say the opposite can’t happen. “If you, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more I?”
But then again be careful about materialism and the love for money; be someone whom God can trust with riches (be a blessed to be a blessing) Cus He hates pride but abides with the Humble.
