Nice trick. I just tried it on my xf 10 and it works just as well. Put the camera on either snap or mf with your distance preselected and set the Touchscreen-function to shot. Then snap away 😁. Thought this method is very stealthy, it's not very comfortable to hold. And you really have to pay attention that you don't get your finger in front of the lens.

Nice video, Tudor. You can still do this horizontally with a slightly different hand configuration, which I used to do all the time, but I had the old GR at the time without touch focus. Now I have the GRIIIx and this is my favorite way to shoot in busy/crowded places.

wow, you are getting deep in the GR rabbit hole. i also liked my GR for landscape vertical with that flat side its the only camera i have that can sit on rails and floor easy. BTW looking forward to Samuel Streetlife episode where he interviews you now that you are a GR gangster

Most of the paracord wrist-straps at Amazon work fine and are under $10 USD. I also have a couple Joby straps, but they might not be available these days. Have fun! -Loren
