Very clean build! It's probably the first I've seen with the decompression release. That's awesome. Great crisp running bike right there. Probably throws roost to the midwest😂

The Man if you raced Open Class 500cc KX500 fit the bill in 88. 1st of 8. Looks great. 89 KX250 tank & shrouds direct fit on kx500. seat to tank looks factory mx. The OLD Man in 2018 I can't get a good kick anymore should of could of the Magic button. might not have sold to the Austrians buying & shipping. that's a Kool Blue Silencer, had trick billet silencer bracket, I worked hard on the vibrating, balance crankshaft and top ends, flywheel and adding weight and keep everything tight especially with the pipe. Felt the Flex Bars had tamed the bar vibes the best don't forget the solid brass vibe inserts Rt & Lt. Mx GP37 and 3 hr desert racing kx500 was a champ no dnf. Got Spit off hidden Rock out in GH wash another time I swear wasn't me the motor spiked a rev rear tire broke swung out hit flat chested and ribs Mfcr. All GH fault lol slower 1st place on downhill single track decides to cart wheel I got caught up in it and launched into closey spaced smaller trunks of trees forearm cracked SO Baker 1 arm struggled to untangle KX from the brush of trees rode to the pits got RV spot later the throb &shock casted in SB Starts first kick that's pretty nice Decompression head mod, we would add material 5-6mm clutch pull arm easier pull. I wish they bring the two strokes back. A lot easier and cheaper to work on.
How much the bikes cost today I don’t even think about buying one four stroke wise. It’s not worth the money to me.

I’ve always wondered why on the KX it looked more like a trail bike and the CR looked just like the other CR’s more MX style
