Convert text date to numeric date using Copy and Paste in Excel

It is very common that when we download data from various database, the date returned is a text-string, instead of a serial number that Excel can recognize as date. There are many ways to convert text date to numeric date. This video shows a quick and lazy way to do so... :)

Important Note: You may find it not working in all scenarios. It really depends on the format of the source data. E.g. 2019AUG01 may not be converted...
