Well said, Hans! Doubt is also an obstacle. For example, being unsuccessful in life, and awful at both meditation and mindfulness, I have lost confidence in my ability to awaken. Without trust or confidence, there is little enthusiasm for practice and no real committment or motivation to be patient, or to make the effort to face my fears or to lose my delusions. Why bother when it seems impossible and when it seems highly likely that my destiny is to remain deluded and the destiny of only people like you, to awaken? You seem very sane, Hans. Awakening seems to be for people who have a high degree personal stability and competence. "If you cant succeed in being a well-adjusted, accomplished, productive member of society, you cant succeed on the spiritual journey either".-Unknown.

I have been following your videos for about a year now and really appreciate you and what I`ve heard and read here. Yesterday I rewatched Part 1 recounting your awakening experience. and today am watching Part 2. I am struck by the discontinuity of the two. Yesterday you shared your story of how you picked up a book from your library, went to bed and read parts of it and experienced an immediate awakening sometime between then and when you awoke the next morning after sleeping like a baby. Today in Part 2 you explain a process that seems to have nothing to do with your experience. Why the change?

Hi hans. .... after awakening do u think there are apparent change in relationship?...sexual desire ....materialistic desire almost starts fading away....it feels like the whole world it feels completely free.and sometimes struggling to deal with worldly is quite obvious that basis of most of the relationship is desire or need....and when that psychological movement do brains stops there is completely collapsed world....like this time it seems confusion is appearing and sharing is happening but there is no need to find anything or get the answer....just confusion sharing and then probably forgetting the question and doing something really don't know a free fall....
