Finding My DREAM APARTMENT In Sofia, Bulgaria 🇧🇬

As a Bulgarian who lives in London and pays €2000/month for a crappy small studio apartment, I've never been more motivated to return to my country.

Hi Alina. I suggest get the first one that is brand new bldg and budget friendly rental. You like the wash room with enclosed shower.
But most of all consider your neighborhood and easy access to stores, etc.. Everyone want to live a quiet and safe neighborhood.

1000 eur for rent in Bulgaria??!! Absolutely insane. When these foreigners who bring their foreign cash and don’t care for overpaying bring up the prices for everyone else locally who can barely afford half of it.

I shouted loud looking at these prices! I mean I live in Udine which is a normal city in Italy and I pay 500 for a two bedroom.

I really like the first one for its brightness and space👍!

The first one from 920 euro, is new and a good price .You can save 2160 euro a year than the other one from 1100 euro.

I'd suggest placing location, safety, views and privacy as a priority. If all the same for the three, I'd recommend #1 over the others ... as it's a new unit, having greater area and likely greater utility efficiency. #2 has no shower glass and no elevator but I suspect being older may actually have the best location. #3 has just too small of a 2nd bedroom, less floor area, and a small (less usable) 2nd bedroom. Note: Only saw a washer in #2. Having a washer and also a balcony are pluses.

What is the reputation of the property management companies? All 3 look very nice with the oldest one with the brick wall probably being my personal favourite. The lack of elevator is a great way to keep up with cardio. Sophia is a beautiful city, can definitely see the attraction.

I’m not sure if this interests you, but I have a friend who lives in Sofia who is an extremely interesting person who I could link you in with.
Alex is only 19 and a local who lives in the city centre.
I met him in Riga at a backpackers and I was astounded how at 17 he was a perpetual traveller, going somewhere at least every month.
He has a fascination with trams and busses and this is what mostly draws him in.
However he is mature beyond his years, extremely intelligent and witty and a non drinker and drug taker and smoker which again I prefer in my friends.
So if you want to meet a local who at such a young age is very well travelled all through eastern Europe I could connect you with his social media.

I would go for the first one. Had two good bedrooms. Two bathrooms and an elevator. You can add some bits and pieces of deco4 for not much money. I don’t think you want to truck groceries up the stairs and the third one has a tiny little bed.

I’m looking for a one-person place, studio is do-able. I really liked Burgas and Varna, and I could live in Sofia as well, but I’m not comfortable with gentrifying home prices up beyond what Bulgarians can afford.
