Snap your fingers and bam! The tray will fill itself. I'm a single node propagator as well...this man knows his plants...thanks for sharing.

I am just making this comment to support what you were explaining about how quick someone could multiply their hydrangeas. I took a branch from a limelight that was about the same size as the Annabell in this video. I made 25 cuttings 12 months ago. Just from the pruning of my rooted cuttings, I have sold right at $1000 and I have just shy of 150 cuttings and potted limelights for my next spring sale. Thanks Craig for your videos!

When I am propagating hydrangeas of different colors or varieties I try to trim the leaves in different shapes (straight, angled, chevron, etc) so it helps me to remember which ones are which.

Thank you for answering a question. I’ve seen multiple videos on how to propagate a hydrangea but none ever explained what to do with it after it has rooted. One per or multiple cuttings per pot. I just got my ahah moment. One cutting per pot. Thank you!

Awesome. Always thought you needed one node below dirt. Ha! Now I'll get twice the plants.

I’m really enjoying your hosts videos. They are hard to find in my area. I’m in zone 9b.
I’m wondering what is eating your leaves that I noticed in your plants? I have same thing. I’m thinking it is the Roly Poly bugs. Is the best way to get rid of them is to use organic DT?
Thanks for any advice. These are my husbands favorite plants and I want to be successful. Backyard Gardner Marlyn
