In this video I share my secret method to grow cuttings in water, including hydrangea, dahlia and basil!

A few months ago I was at a local market and saw these consolidation jars and immediately thought ‘Well I know what I can do with those’. Use them to root cuttings of course. So I scoured around my garden to find suitable plants. I chose some easy rooters like basil, and some more woody plants like hydrangea and dahlia.

I am defintely trying the dahlias, i think changing the water every day will help prevent rot, also some mild warmth from a heated propagator.
