This argument sucks for every type of critique. "If you don't like x drawing then you should draw it YOURSELF" "If you don't like this book then you should write one yourself". It's just a cheap way to avoid being criticized.

But people who make their careers about music without making their music are failed musicians, anyone who likes music that much should have a desire to make it, if they don't it's because they can't.
