I knew someone who lived in a house built for a TV makeover. She said the producers lied about a lot of the things they were going through. She said most of the house that wasnt finished was never shown on tv and it took years for them to come back and finish. She said her family couldnt afford the taxes on the home and ended up renting all the rooms except one that they all shared 🙄

My understanding was that they rebuild these homes and help them out by paying for it…….. possibly the upkeep in electric bills n such?? But that just seems crappy when u have ppl who couldn’t afford to move in the first place, or fix it themselves only to put them in the exact same position…. Just with a nicer home. What!? 6:50

I was under the impression that there bills like Taxes . Finishing the house. Would be paid for by the T.v. channel as much money as they made off this show. SMH So sad for some of these families ❤. But to put such hugh homes in some of the neighbors is crazt to me. They could have built homes that were not to big so they could afford there monthly bills. Thank you Sloan I have always wondered what happened to some of these families
