Adriana and I were overwhelmed with how much you guys enjoyed our rendition of Flow. There were a ton of requests but this is the one I've been wanting to do for a while now. I remember constantly feeling like I missed the boat on FFXIV, but when I saw the Endwalker trailer, it made me want to blast all the way to Endwalker as fast as I could. Still working on that by the way.

It was interesting doing this since it's technically a medley. While I've been known in the past as the medley guy, jumping back into something so intricate and multilayered was a challenge for sure. Since I'm also trying out micing a real amp instead of using amp sims and my Mxe FX III, I'm having a really tough time getting to a sound I like quickly. I've been kind of forced to be okay with what I get and learn the sound and how it works. I'll get the hang of it soon.

This is probably the video with the most range from me singingwise. I'm still super nervous about singing at all, but you guys in the comments have been so supportive on my previous vocal performances, so it's thanks to you that I had the courage to take this one on. Sorry if it's a bit rough, but I gave it my all!

Crying over a freakin' music cover. When you covered Flow, I knew already that I wanted to hear you do the Stormblood chorus part and Adriana the Song of Hope part. My wish has been heard, you two are so talented. PLEASE, PLEASE cover "What Angel Wakes Me" with Adriana, she has the perfect voice for this!!!

Bit of a spicy take, but the uncertainty and hesitation you have in your vocal skills really adds to the emotion. The beginning sounds mournful in a personal way, Heavensward and Stormblood added some fire in your belly, and you were completely determined for the final parts of the song. You traveled a whole journey in just one song.

Four things I love about Footfalls in general:

1. The Heavensward section is sung in Dravanian.

2. The Stormblood section is sung from the point of view of the liberated Ala Mighans as they now look to the future they now have to shape.

3. The Shadowbringers section is sung muted and hidden, because The First is literally a whole dimension away and not directly affected by what all's going on in The Source, but is no less important to the story.

4. The worth "faith" is used A LOT throughout the expansion, and it's hidden front and center in our face in the opening song while not being overbearing, just like its usage throughout the story.

I'm not an FF14 player but the music is so good, I love this song in particular since I'm a massive fan of Architects and Sam Carter's vocals on the song are amazing, huge props for taking on these vocals you really nailed it and Adriana was amazing as always :D

Oh my god, whether it's the main track or the backing vocals, especially in the reprose segment at the end, just hearing the way your voice tears it up in the song sends shivers down my spine. From that cover of the underwater theme in Mario 1 to now, you've evolved so much!
