Advice for Meeting Authors and Book Signings! [CC]

In all my years of being book obsessed, I have never been to a signing. This is great advice and I'll keep it in mind when I finally make it to one!

"get there as early as you can" (and don't then wait around the corner for 30 mins and end up in row 4 - LIFE LESSONS). This makes me so nostalgic for this time last year and the signings we went to, i'm so excited to go to more!

These are some great tips! I hadn't thought of getting some sticky notes to get authors to sign like a book plate, that's a great idea! And yes I always end up at book events hours early but then I get chatting to people and end up sitting further back :') This video has made me so excited for a couple of signings coming up and of course YALC!!

I wanna try and make it to one of V's signings when she is in the UK so I'm in love with this video right now. Like I can already feel how nervous I would be to meet her, especially as this would be my first ever author signing - so know I now the basics hehe :D Honestly as soon as I'm sure I'm gonna go I was gonna ask you anyway like "HOW DO I PREPARE" and stuff like that :D :D :D

Loved this! I haven't been to a book signing before. I'm not very good with crowds and I'm way too shy (I know it does't seem like it sometimes lol), but I'm sure I would be a stuttering mess if I went up to talk to an author.

In Australia for book signings you have to RSVP to book signings and they sell out

This was an amazing video and in perfect timing for the Laini Taylor signing which will be my first event *eek* but with buying the book before you go - I have the entire DOSAB trilogy already but do I buy strange the dreamer before I go or in the time before I meet the author at the event? I guess while I'm there but before I meet her? Thanks guys you're always so helpful ☺ xx
