People are saying the iphone size is too small for 2014, but apple basically leads the smartphone industry. Everyone can take note from Apple that bigger isn't always better :). I personally don't want to use 2 hands to hold a smartphone thankyou very much

I went from S4 to 5S, i really love my 5S :) miss some android capabilities though, especially illegal torrent downloads.

android is like firefox it has soo many options and customization while apple is like chrome professional and powerful

I own the Galaxy S4 now for about 2 years and this is what I can tell you:
NOTE: I am someone who is very familiar with Android. So don't tell me things like: "Download this app... to make is faster"

+ Display
+ Camera (amazing pics)
+ Android
+ Removable battery
+ You can upgrade the memory
+ Awesome features

BUT....

- Battery life sucks (half a day of battery life)
- Phone gets hot really quick
- Samsung packs the phone with bloatware, I got the 16GB version and I can only use about 9 GB
- OS got updates really late
- Phone becomes really slow so flashing your phone again will be needed every 2 or 3 months
- Phone freezes almost always 

This phone will last you about a year or two. I'm probably going to switch to the iPhone 6 Plus, Note 4, or OnePlus One. I'm just done with Samsung's lazy development team.

The iPhone 5S is much better for a quality usage over the overkill features on the Samsung.
Samsung basically sells features, while Apple sells better quality hardware, more thought out softwares and it makes a difference.

the only "pro" on the S4 is kinda the screen size and as you said, its not for everyone... I like the 4" screen, so there's absolutely no cons for me regarding the iPhone ;)

5s. Better overall camera, app selection, build, overall os optimization, battery performance, etc, etc. I like the s4 screen size, swiftkey but that's it. Android is still not on par with iOS plain and simple!

I defiantly like the iPhone 5s better I had an android and just got the iPhone 5s recently and I'm so glad I went with this phone, and now Apple has definitely won me over to never go back to android and to go to their line of Mac products too love my new Mac book pro with retina display!

You can just do more with a galaxy and a hell of a lot easier . Iphones are cute . But so limited . If only galaxys came out with nice colors and case designs

I had an HTC Desire, Samsung Exhibit II, HTC wildfire, Galaxy Nexus, Nexus 4, Galaxy S4 and Finally an iPhone 5S. Honestly, all my Android phones were cool after owning it for a week but I enjoy using my iPhone almost just as much when I first bought it when it came out. Switching from Android to iOS felt like when I switched from Windows to Mac. Apple really knows what they're doing. No other company on this planet can compare to what Apple has done to their products. Whenever I walk around campus, almost everyone has an iPhone literally everyone and considering I go to technology school shows how even the tech nerds prefer the iPhone

I didn't even realize this video was 20 minutes long haha. Very thorough, informative, and entertaining. Both phones are awesome pieces of tech, and I'm glad you really highlighted each of their many merits, and unique features. I still prefer my HTC One to either device though =P

The new iPhone 5s is great in terms of functionality and speed and I highly recommend it. I had my iPhone 4S for exactly 2 years (Nov 2011) and did not have a single problem - except when I upgraded to iOS 7 and battery started draining way too fast, but other than that it was in perfect condition.

My sister's S3 (Oct 2012), on the other hand, started lagging ever since June and she started complaining about the battery and the immense lagging. She does not install a lot of games and whatever malware there is on the Play Store so it's not because of that. She just recently switched to iPhone 5s.

My brother's S3 fell literally 10cm from his hand on the table and the screen stopped working entirely, and had to replace it for 200 pounds (~$320). He then sold it and got the iPhone 5 at the start of this year and has not reported any problems. 

Here I am talking about experience from my two siblings and this can't go wrong. My iPhone 4S (with a case) fell from the top of my two-floor house directly to the bottom while I was walking down the stairs and nothing happened, except for a little damage on the $20 case. Amazing build quality is what differentiates Apple's devices with others.

S4 is very superior over the iphone 5s, anything the iphone can do the s4 can do way better, and s4 gives you more freedom, you have to jailbreak Your iphone to get features the s4 has, bigger screen, louder, better pics, change memory size, et, . Its more but i have to get them both in my hands again, but those are what i noticed
