If you are looking for Kaifeng in Wikipedia (the capital of Liang), there are some information about a Chinese group called Hui-Chinese. The Hui-Chinese were Muslims and their roots/origin was in Persia. They were persian merchants trading in China using the silk road. So, as Liang, conquer the traditional silk road back to Persia and be the major trade power in the persian trade node.
