Wow 15 seconds faster per 100m just using the "Barrel" tip! I must have really had the brakes on! Thanks a mill!

I like to focus on a relaxed but strong stroke. its surprising how much faster you are when you feel the water rather than fighting the water. great tips!

Very helpful, thanks for the video! I tried imagining rolling over a barrel during my morning swim today and it actually helped - first time I really got what is meant with a high elbow!

Nice video. Can you make one about looking in front of you while swimming in open water? I tried to figure it out myself, but I am loosing the rhythm a lot and have problem with breathing.

Thank you so much for this video. I am learning free style from youtube coaches and on my own in the pool. I have excessive head movement and over extending arm issues. I will practice the drills from you to correct course. I know I have issues because I don’t feel smooth and effortless when I swim, like something doesn’t feel right. One time or another I had all 6 of the mistakes, now down to the 2.

This all looks great and I really appreciate your videos; but when I get to the pool, everything I've "learned" falls apart. Sigh :)

Thank you guys. All of your videos have been really helpful as I navigate my way into the world of triathlon. Swimming is certainly my weakest sport. I look forward to taking these tips and drills to the pool

There's a lot of controversy in the head position. Looking ahead, at 45 degrees put some tension on your neck. Looking straight down, which is more natural will automatically raise your legs. Also, looking straight down you will have less constraints/ less effort on your shoulders. Not my opinion, it's the Ocean Walker technique developed by him while he had shoulder injury. At least that's my understanding of his technique.
