Cruise News, What's Happened This Week?

- Carnival Cruise Line have said that they plan to have 75% of the fleet operational by the end of the year. Princess Cruises are hoping to have at least half of their ships sailing by the end of the year.

- Viking have restarted sailing in the Mediterranean. Guests have boarded the Viking Sea and Viking Venus in the capital of Malta, Valletta. The ships will be sailing on 11 and 21 day itineraries.

- Celebrity Equinox has restarted sailing from Port Everglades. Celebrity Equinox's return to cruising means that she joins the Celebrity Millennium, Edge, Apex, Silhouette and Flora all of whom are currently sailing.

- Disney cruise line are planning to restart sailing from the US in August. The Disney dream will initially start with 3 or 4 night voyages to the Bahamas.

- Holland America and Princess have both restarted cruising to Alaska.

- Sky Princess has made her inaugural visit to the UK ahead of her British Isles cruising season. I will be onboard later in the year so make sure you subscribe.
