As someone who practices Shotokan, I am so unbelievably hyped that Lidia's fighting takes so much from Shotokan.

Her style really looks like Shotokan, or at the very least some other form of close contact karate. EDIT: Looked up the kata for her rage art - the beginning is a part from Jion (possibly Heian Yondan as well) and the finisher is the intro to Kankaku Dai. Both Mastery katas from Shotokan.

The stage is awesome. Floor one is the pool from T5 and the lower floor is the beach from T4. The stage theme is also a remix from T5 and the final round is a remix of the beach theme from T4.
