This is why I dropped out of college. I am a third year student studying electrical engineering at BITS Pilani Goa campus. I went back to college and stayed there for 3 weeks only to realise I can't manage all my content creation and business and college academics together. Hence, I decided to leave college.

Listening to heart at this age, needs courage so best wishes Ishaan.
For other's reading, kindly understand that he took a drop because his priorities are set, he has backup cash to sustain longer than many employed people have after 8-10 years and because he has a set plan.
A lot of people might think that let's take a drop too, but before doing so, make sure the above checklist about a solid plan, backup capital and a focussed proven area...all are ready!
Once again kudos to your efforts. Best wishes 👍

When you try to do some side hustles during college you never realise when college itself became the side hustle. It's a fact, good decision brother. All the best

To everyone, who's watching this video. Don't blindly copy him and ignore your college studies . He is already in a position where he does not need to attend college anymore, he is already financially independent and his future in content and marketing industry is also bright . So note it down, he first made a back up for himself both financially and professionally, then he is dropping out of college.
So don't try to copy him unless you reach at that level.

I knew this day would come. Watching you from being an average guy to becoming a great inspiration to the youth is something amazing. But I do think that you have a lot on your plate. And I can't tell if dropping out is a good idea or bad! So, do what you think is correct and don't regret the decision, my friend. Thanks for the content till now.

Indian Education system is lacking somewhere, which i feel in my college too . The risk takers are less, happy that you had the courage to choose the wise decision about yourself.
Third Year Student.

Huge respect for you buddy.
What I believe is to keep working hard on the thing you think will gonna help in the longer run.
To be very honest, I was just thinking today itself about this "College academics, and 75% attendance policy". This really sucks mannn...
Can't really imagine a world wherein engineers are taught theoretically in 4 walls, and in the name of practicals they are taught on age-old devices (that have literally become extinct).
I had a word with some of my friends, and they really don't feel any attraction/motive behind coming to college (just the case they need to maintain at least a minimum of 75% attendance).
Would like to add a personal experience. I often used to ask my batchmates if there are any classes canceled for the day (just to make sure that I could utilize that time for creating content and my other research-related stuff). Their as usual brutal replies are "Bhai college chod de, Bhai degree chod de, tune pdhayi nhi krni to mtt aa college"; and this was the case when they themselves were hardly learning anything during the day and making sure to party, watch around movies, and plan trips.
This video came out as a hope, that people in this world are taking bold decisions to take a step forward to pursue their TRUE passion.
Thanks for sharing it man. More power to you. Wishing you an exciting and "exponential growth journey ahead".

Just out of curiosity. BITS has a 0% attendance policy; you could just come back home and go next time to appear for exams. (4th year goes totally into projects and internships, and there are hardly any academics). You must have come across this thought. Would like to know your views on this aspect.
Regards,
Aryan

Congrats boy! Always have faith in your decisions, even if everyone tells you they are wrong. It took me 4 attempts to get into medical school. Yes. 4 attempts. I was 22 by the time I started, one year younger than what people are when they graduate. When I failed my second attempt everyone around me started saying i perhaps don't have the aptitude to study medicine. After failing my third attempt, my own parents told me that and said I'd be better off doing BSc in Biology. I reluctantly joined a college in my city but hated it and dropped out and this almost gave a seizure to my relatives. I then looked myself in the mirror and told myself I was going to get into a medical College this year no matter what. And then i worked the hardest i have ever worked my entire life. All I did was eat study bathe and sleep. The entrances came, i gave them, and blew them out of the water. My AIR was 34 and I was screaming and weeping with joy. 4 years of rejection and disappointments and finally fortune was smiling on me.

Even in MBBS, I worked my ass off and finished at the top of the class. 20 years later, I am so glad I didn't continue with that BSc in Biology, it would've been such an underwhelming and dreary existence, that I would've remained neck deep in depression all along.

Good luck to you for future endeavours! Don't be afraid to take risks and never mistake a temporary defeat for a permanent one. Cheers!

It takes courage, I dropped from college 12 years back coz my Civil engineer father wanted me to become an engineer (my brother is a civil engineer too) but my interest is in life sciences, I lost the battle and was in total depression, the art thing in me got my career back, took a diploma course in Multimedia and today I'm a successful product designer when interviewers ask me about my non-degree education I tell them that my work experience is bigger than a traditional degree, I wouldn't recommend anyone to drop out of the college for the heck out of it, but the key is to follow your passion with all your heart, you just need to have talent, passion, patience and a humble approach.

For such decisions a strong financial background is also very neccesary which he has dont get influenced by him we middle class people dream about being an engineer or a doctor so that we can give support to our parents from a finacial perspective . So think everyone before taking any such decision without any strong financial support

6:58 totally agree with that point." Vibe feel nhi hoti, saabke mindset aalag hai!".We usually don't realise how important an environment is to develop a product. We always think ki ho jayega but building an environment and further shaping it into a routine can make a lot of difference in creating content or any other field.
