If you bought an Intel CPU recently, I’d love for an in depth explanation as to why. No judgement. Would just love to hear some reasons. 🙏

its crazy to think about like 10 years back intel was the one that had no competition… how the tables have turned!

Remember everyone: brand loyalty is stupid. Buy the best product within your budget that will do what you want and need it to do. Right now, that’s ryzen for most people, but it could change in a few years

if 9800X3D don't have competition then it's gonna cost like 1000 bucks...

Exactly, competition helps us get better CPU at better prices

I just swapped 12900k to 9800x3d from Microcenter. AMD have really stepped up their game because this CPU performance is amazing and temp is even more amazing 👏

This is like when AMD released their FX series and almost nobody use it for gaming unless you also need productivity performance for multithreaded workflows. We went full circle since then

My main desktop has a core i7 12700f with a rtx 4070 while my htpc has a ryzen 5 5500 and a rx 6800. So I'm a proud owner of all the brands.

I just bought a Ryzen 5 7600x for my first PC build based on recommendation and research mostly done on your channel !

The GPU market aswell, Nvidia tried to compete, but the Ryzen 4070 dominates the benchmarks

This lack of competition from intel, makes the x3d chips here in germany go up in price instead of down.

6 years ago, I made a bet with my brother that AMD is gonna obliterate intel in the coming years! Guess now it's time to redeem my 10, 000$

The way intel is going, it’s best to hold on to your 5800x3d or 7800x3d chips. Because the next generation x3d chips after the 9000 series is going to get real expensive

Never bought anything other than intel cpu’s and Nvidia gpu’s for all my years owning a gaming pc, just built a new one and I’m proud to say I went with a complete AMD build.

Initially when I wanted to upgrade from my AMD Phenom II I wanted to get a Core i3-10105F, and then realised I can get a Ryzen 5 3600 for cheaper, and that's what I went for, upgraded to it recently and I don't regret that decision so far.

Pre builds still goes heavy intel, Nvidia. Self build usually amd the whole way through.

The reason I go with Ryzen is because of its cpu interchangeablility. Rather than having x amount of motherboards specific to one generation of cpus, Ryzen is kind of a all in one. As long as it's an AM4 socket, it's compatible with every AM4 cpu. If you have an AM5 motherboard, any AM5 cpu is compatible. It's just ease of upgrade and a QOL in general. The only thing you DO have to worry about is what serie(s) the Chipset is compatible with.

And the best part, because the brands match, the Ryzen 4070 is great when paired with a Ryzen cpu.
