I really didn't think about adverts shown before films in theatres when I saw this pop up in my YouTube subscription feed. Now that I think about it, I'm reminded of films being advertised through those before being advertised in public.

You can see the 4:3 border on the animated Intel logo. I think they were either planning to just make TV commercials or the tape with the logo was 4:3.

I didn't think there was a scan of this, considering it was a TV commercial. I'm not hating on it, just a little bit interesting that it exists.

Makes me wonder if there are more TV commercials out there converted into film for use in movie theaters. And for that matter, do other countries like France and Japan do the same?
