We can't deny the fact that Lilies are just so pretty! I love this kind of flower so much. Any dead flowers must be cut off to avoid damaging the healthy parts of it especially the indoor plants. Wonderful video. Thank you 🙏🏻 can i repot my lilies in winter. One of my pots has a unique situation. Half of the plant in the pot is thriving and looks healthy and other half is not looking good. Unhappy small leaves. I thought repotting them and separating would help.

How do I cut them right at the base when the stems are very long? My leaf stems are around 40 cm (1 1/3 feet?). Do i have to pull the flower stem from inside the leave stem? Or do I just cut them at the point where they exit the leaf?

Oh no, at 1:03 you say Peace Lilies like to be kept on the "wet side". That is not true! You can give them a good drink of water, but then do not water again until the soil is dried out or if the leaves start drooping. The drooping leaves will come right back up after giving the plant a good soaking. Definitely don't put plant in direct sunlight, but good indirect light is ok.

Okay, so the flower itself grows out from the center of a big green leaf. When the flower dies and leaves behind its big green leaf from which it was born, do you cut that leaf as well? Or will it eventually produce another bloom?
