If there is ever a term more overused in the collecting world, it is the term "Grail" -- what exactly is that and are there actual Hot Toys grails? Let's take a look at the rarest and for some, the most expensive, Hot Toys ever!

My Holy Grail Hot Toys was getting Rocky III.
It took me about three years of searching and waiting to finding him at a reasonable price.
To me he is the best Rocky figure. 🙂

I agree, way too many people throwing the grail slogan around with literally every figure they want lol. for me the dx13 was MY holy grail, took me ten years to get a brand new one, and it's my prize possession

Though not mentioned here, I suspect Jor El from Superman Returns is up there especially since its compatible with the Chris Reeves Supes but also extremely high quality.

There are no hot toys grails. Any hot toy that gains traction hot toys just reissues it. Kills the collector aspect of it all

Shame, for the value that they're selling for as grails, the sculpts are really outdated compared to todays Hot Toys standards. Its good that I managed to snag the MJ Thriller set for 150 usd MISB.
