Left alt highlights all interactable items; including lootable corpses. It's a toggled thing; so tapping left alt keeps all interactables highlighted untill you tap it again.

Honestly one of the things I love best about this game is it has a free demo. Not saying that should be your only decision maker, but so few companies let you try before anymore, I miss those days. I really enjoy the game myself.

It looks like an interesting game, but the asking price is a bit steep right now. Once it's gotten a few patches and dropped a bit in price, then I'll probably bite as there are few ancient crpgs out there.

I played the demo yesterday for about 7hrs. I liked it very much but as you said the big battles with dancing icons was not very interesting. My other nitpicks were-
- Animations seem too slow. I'd like a little faster gameplay. Specially enemies are too slow on their turn.
- Looting items at the end of big battles is a chore since there are so many bodies lying everywhere
- Characters getting stuck while moving if other non-playble ally is blocking a narrow path.

I was waiting for your thoughts on this! I played Expeditions Conquistador and really enjoyed it. Skipped Expeditions Vikings for one reason or another. Overall though, I am looking forward to trying out Expeditions Rome in the future.

I'm playing through Conquistador right now and enjoying it a lot. This game looks like it's up my alley.

I know this is weeks late, but the legion battles actually have a decent amount of depth to them as a whole. You CAN max troops and morale and do okay, but the key is using tactics and planning out attacks and defenses on the map to maximize the chances of your legions gaining xp in battles. Just make sure to start spamming the stratagem building to get as many red cards as you can and to prioritize player defense in battles over morale. You need to kill more troops than the enemy to continue to build army strength past max troops and morale, which something like scorpions excel at. Loosing too many troops will actually loose you significant amounts of xp.

Heya, you can make you life much easier by pressing Left Alt which will turn constant highlighting of Interactable objects on. You'll be amazed on how much loot you actually pass by))

Yeah and you'll need to "refresh" that highlighting after every second loading screen.

The usual wait for console release is often painful especially when there's a goddam Roman themed game in my favourite genre/type no less, haven't played a decent Roman game since Total war. Will 🤞 that this gets enough attention to be released on console as it looks very cool.

Just a small nitpick but Centurions are not mercenaries. They are the equivalent to a officer rank in the post-Marian reform Roman Army commanding Centuries (100men give or take)
