Thank you for this video. When I was younger I tried to take care of my teeth. I loved my teeth and had no cavities. Now I have gum disease. I never wanted this to happen. 😑 Not the best dentists,
lack of dental education and insurance changes are part of the blame. I have all my teeth still and trying not to lose them. Found a better dental clinic. I have to have a procedure done soon. Your video helps. 🙂 Pray for me. Thank you.

One thing we weren't told. You're not supposed to mouthwash right after brushing your teeth as Mouthwash washes off the concentrated fluoride. I assume he meant "Mouthwash" BEFORE brushing.

Thanks for the info unfortunately I probably have stage 2 I'm going in September to get it deep cleaned but my dentist said I'll probably have to have a deep clean and come back a cpl of times the bottom teeth are getting bad lol well see what they say in September thou :)

Hello, my gums are generally OK except for a part above one tooth. This part heavily bleeds even when I lightly brush it. It hurts so much when I brush it as well. Afterwards, the bleeding stops and it becomes white. Any ideas on what it is and what I should do?

Some of my gums have turned darker after my first scaling. Can scaling or cleaning the tarter cause dark and sensitive gums that don't heal on their own for a long time?

I might invest in a water pik to help with my flossing and a oral b electric tooth brush with guide app.

I have bad stomach acid which Has affected my molars at the back, plus I’m English and received some awful advice and treatment, that I now need three implants 🤦🏻‍♀️

But hey I got health gums and a little reversible gingi 👍🏼

I highly recommend
Eythomol tooth paste
Crest/oral B tooth paste
And corosydol mouth wash once a week. (Do not use it 24/7) it’s medicated mouth wash.

Yeah..things are SO expensive...and I worry how much it will cost my dad..he provides everything for us and I'm worried that my dentist will say that the holes in my gums aren't anything

Sir is the image posted when you showed the bullet for 'healthy gum and bones' actually what your gums should look like? Mine look like this and im having trouble understanding if its normal or not. At the top gums its whiteish with tiny clusters like this image.

My dentist says my gums look healthy but I have deep pockets. I'm usually very good at cleaning my teeth and they have never look as disgusting as any of the pictures shown in this video. They told me not to worry about it so I don't get it!! I keep reading that periodontitis is a serious condition so I'm confused!

I know periodontitis cant be cured, but can symptoms be treated or reduced? Specifically metallic taste, dry mouth, and discoloration of the hard and soft palate.

My gums bleed massively when brushing and there redness going up the gum but I dont have loose teeth or much plaque, I do have minor bone loss on the bottom row but the gums are pink what's that

Very informative video..thank u ..I lost one molar that's bee root canales 10 years ago...it was not very well done that caused bad infection... got that extracted... now I m over conscious as my gums are apparently fine ..they don't bleed but molars hv minor small triangles in between and sometimes I get a pinching feeling.. dr did normal cleaning and said that yr gums have receded lil in back to back pregnancies.. now I brush, floss and do mouth was regularly..plz suggest how can I improve my gums health and y I got lil tinkling sometimes in my gums..thank u

The rises in estrogen contribute to gum issues? You mentioned estrogen but completely glazed over it.

Could PCOS be the cause of my bone loss and gingivitis!
Or topical minoxidil (it used to be prescribed for high blood pressure patients)
Cause I brush my teeth they are cleen they were perfect but one day i noticed a gap between my teeth, I went to see the doctor he told me I have bone loss, which shocking to me I got scared and didn't go back to the doctor, so after 10 months now the gum on my frontal incisive receded with about 1, 5 to 2 mm I don't know how much the damage went is it treatable or not? Cause as I look online I find no good results sometimes it looks worse than before 😢😥💔
