the cinematography, the colour palette, the sound design, the BEAUTIFUL music choice makes me nostalgic about a time i didn't even exist in. Beautiful beautiful show. This is one of those very few shows that has heart. Chemistry between the characters no matter what their individual archetypes are. They just blend.

The Duffers are a gift to us. They totally have done their research by being fans of 80's movies, horror, novels, trends etc and clearly see it through the lens of their art. I love it so so much! Thank you for being amazing creators and sharing that with the world.

Love how the characters/their storylines are so well thought out, even with so much going on this season.

This whole one month pause has created a lot of hype and heightened the tension even more. I've definitely enjoyed reading so many different fan theories, they should adopt this model for the final season. There should be like 9 episodes, each episode being 2 hours long and should be released in 3 volumes.

I love the multi genre feel to all the different story’s and plot lines in season 4.

The plot in Hawkins is a horror mystery with that supernatural kick that makes the series so great and unnerving. It also reminded me a little bit of a body horror type movie.

The plot in California is a lot like a action adventure comedy movie with Mike will Jonathan and Argyle.

Elevens journey by diving in her memories and being in the hidden Nevada lab with Owens and Brenner has that great mix of a supernatural thriller and mystery story which is dope and has elements of a contained thriller. The tension between her and brenner is also great.

The plot with Joyce and Murray has a pure adventure feeling to it and hoopers story remind me of having the sub genre touch of a prison movie like cool hand Luke with great action.

All four of the plot lines also have great drama and depth and backstory and you just can’t help but watch more. I love this show considering I didn’t even start watching until 2020.
