Wrong answer on this video on how to answer a call! It is not simply to swipe the green button. You have to long SWIPE THE GREEN BUTTON ALL THE WAY ACROSS TO THE RED BUTTON"! It's been frustrating losing calls. At this point, I am thinking those engineers at Samsung are not the brightest and am also wondering how many people have left the Samsung android phones for IPhones due to frustration over something so basic.
What also kills me is that people who makes these video knows this and yet they simply says "swipe" the button. How many people had heard that and "swipe" the button and it didn't work? This proves that details is important in communications. So, "long" swipe is the answer! Sheesh!

The other tutorial I watched advised swipe to the middle. In practice this was hit and miss for me. Yours illustrated that the motion is really swipe to the other side of the screen. It worked so much better for me. I can't believe I've been struggling with this for ages. I know I could have changed to a simple "tap" motion via settings etc, but the danger is you accidentally answer the phone. Thank you for this!

Can you make it a simple tap? My phone never likes to answer and it's frustrating

Pressing should be enough... this is the most moronic way to do it (no indicator on to either). Luckily settings allow to use buttons instead.

Seeing other comments, I can now withdraw my 'Dohhhh', when I had to call the caller back because I pressed it, or swiped upwards, killing it. OK, ok, I know: RTBM.

How do you answer a call when the phone is locked? It won't let me swipe when the phone is locked. By the time I unlock the phone, the call is gone.

I absolutely HATE this phone! I had an Iphone 8 Plus that the battery was getting old and this was on sale. Stepson talked me into this. HUGE Mistake! My 8 Plus smoked this phone in every way. Who ever heard of "You have to go into Accessibility > Interaction & Dexterity" to change settings. That is SO DUMB! Cannot wait to get back to Iphone and junk this thing!

Android always surprise me and continue to remind me is a no common sense operation system since I first tested 12 years ago. I found lost Samsung fold phone today and people belong to was ringing but i tried pressing the green button to tell the people they have lost the phone and nothing happened, obviously non sense in the android user graphic design helped me to know that I need to swipe. Thanks god we have alternative mobile sensible operation system develop by sensible humans not aliens. Ended up in the O2 shop to hand the phone as this was the only clue I could found on the screen.
