I think what I like most about buying physical games is the feeling of walking into a game store and seeing all the games in rows on tons of shelves, and just looking at all the games, my dad smiling watching me have this magical feeling looking through all them, it’s moments like those that bring digital cools never have the same feeling.

As a kid having game covers as decorations was a huge thing, but as a grownup having less «mess» and easy access to all of my ganes on the ps5 has been great!

I only buy and collect physical games. Physical media is the only way.

I go for both besides you'll never know if there's a game that isn't on digital but you can still grab it as physical copy

I love the physical copy of games as I always collected them since my childhood and I love to see the covers too

Both have there ups and downs. I’m getting to a point where I’m so lazy I can’t be bothered to get up and keep changing discs. Discs also don’t last forever but still they can last a really really long time depending on how well you look after them and who gets ahold of them. Discs also hold value as if you wanted to sell your physical copies you can. They are just also great to have and it puts more uniqueness in your room. The down side is that if your account gets hacked like I have before then all your downloads are gone. I remember I used to always buy from the ps store and now I have lost like 30 downloaded games. But now I buy physical copies on the games I love like Uncharted and I buy downloaded games I don’t really care about like the last of us. So both have their ups and downs. I’d still prefer physical copies to be genuinely honest.

I need to actually own them instead of them randomly deciding in the future that my Digital Purchase is not ownership, so definitely Physical.

Majority of my games are physical but I usually have a digital owned game (the hong kong massacre) that I will switch over to if I want a brake from my primary game I'm playing.

I do everything physical. I’ve had a buddy who lost access to a digital game and Sony said he had to buy a new download. To me it feels safer to have that physical game and it looks neat on a shelf!

Physical, because even if you lose your account, you still have your games.

I use to buy hard and then a friend talked me out of it and to only buy digital go a couple years. Now I’m going back to physical. Just owning something you can control and hold is such a better feeling in my purchase.

Right now I’m digital it’s just simply easier to deal with and I find the online sales are better than the game stop sales or used games

Physical, I paid for these games, should be able to play them whenever I want, even after Sony decides to close their online store

Selling trading and lending is definitely a big plus. But one important function many dont talk about is how installing from a disc can be faster than downloading off the web, those with poor speeds will benefit greatly from it. Also the goodies games come with like sonic plus origin (artbook) and Bombrush Cyber Funk (graffitti stickers) and Stray (picture cards) makes it a fun experience in and out of the game.
