I never heard of Dan Reeder until I heard "Stay down man" in the trailer of a Joe Pickett episode 2nd season. The song peeked my interest in who wrote and sung it and I wanted to hear the whole song. I finally heard the whole song and was blown away of how it portrays real life. His songs are unique and the words have meaning like the songs I grew up with in the early 1960's. This is priceless.

It's seems odd to say that I love Dan Reeder because my name is also Dan Reeder. I often wonder if the "other" Dan Reeder is ever asked about making dragons since I am often asked if I sing songs. My answer is always, "If I could write and sing like the other Dan I wouldn't be making art. I'd be writing and singing." Love Dan's lyrics. I'm proud to be his name-sake.
