Lets make it easier
Use 16 x 10 = 160, then use 160/2 = 80 (another method is use 16 x 5 =80 which is half of 160)
Now we got 160+80=240. Quick math and simpler.

EASIEST WAY EVER:
Imagine it like 16 x 1.5. 1.5 (so basically 1 and a 1/2) of 16 is 24. Now times that by 10 cuz we divided 15 into 1.5. Answer 240. Boom. Took me like 10 seconds.

how I do:

so first:
copy 1_ _
then add 6+5=11
so 1_ _ + 11 = 21_
then multiply 6x5 = 30
then 21_ + 30 = 240

Easy method....

We all know squares till 20 at least, right?
So just add 15 to 15²
That is, 225+15=240!!!

I feel like that’s too complicated. 15*2 = 30 and 16 can divide by 2.
Give 16s 2 to the 15, you get 8*30, which js just 8*3 and add a 0.
Giving you 240
