Since this is aimed towards beginners (right?) I would suggest that you put some sort of drum score to help them understand what sort of sub division you are playing.

I remember when I used to watch these sorts of vids, learning the fill was the easy part but learning how to implement it into a groove is rather hard. And it could be much easier if the notes are laid out.

on the EAD10, how do you get the trigger noise from the kick to be so much louder than the acoustic noise coming from the kick?
