you guys saved my game! I accidentally joined an online game a few days ago without beating the quest and the host's progress data overwrote my ability to pick up the item.

so you cant do it if youve already completed the quest, you need to start on a new character then use the .sav file?

Does the save quit thing work like on borderlands 2? Where you dont accept the item from the quest then just close your game an re open?

got the file from nexus mods uploaded by these guys. scanned twice for viruses with different software. If you're like me and worried about stuff like that it's safe.
