There are plenty of rare items in borderlands 2, a bee shield with good parts, legendary class mods, friends that want to play with you, the farms are endless. But there’s one type of item rarer than the rest, so rare you can’t even get it until UVHM, Pearlescents. Pearlescents are borderlands 2’s rarest type of item, and are questionable in terms of usefulness but are still beloved nonetheless, So I decided to try and beat borderlands 2 with only pearls.

The rules for the run are
1. I can only have pearlescent gear equipped
2. My action skill, stock grenades, and cars are allowed
3. Bar is turned off

Now I typically do all of my challenge runs in Normal mode where you can’t get pearls… at least not normally. There is one way however. If you win the jackpot on the tina DLC slots you have a chance at getting a pearl.

Controversial, but mine is Control Core Angel for favorite level. I was a Roland main in my first ever trip into the Borderlands, and watching him die ripped my heart out and set my soul ablaze like Lilith. Everything before didn't matter an inch, I had seen my hero shot in the back and disrespected and NOTHING from that point would stop me from killing Jack. In fact, my hatred carried so far as I personally killed Jack as EVERY Hunter, my favorite being Krieg as I finally had the chance to RIP AND TEAR THAT TRAITOROUS SLIME-
Sorry, I can't help myself sometimes. I actually love Angel, but I would kill her a thousand times over JUST to hurt Jack a thousand times more.

My favorite map in Bl2 is Pyro Pete's Bar. You get to fight Pete, pick a fight with the drunks, grind Torgue Tokens, get a Customization Station built-in, and all while you get to listen to the best combat music in the game; WEP!
