SS North American ~ A Magnificent Liner

I thought I would make photo collage of the SS North American throughout her whole career. If you don't know what the North American is, it's the sister ship of the SS South American, another Passenger Liner that served on the Great Lakes. The ship has mostly served for the Chicago, Duluth & Georgian Bay Transit Company (1913 - 1963). In 1963, the Canadian Holiday Line bought the ship and served for two seasons. In 1967, the ship was bought at a public auction by a sailors' training academy. Couple months later, the ship sunk off the coast of Cape Cod in Massachusetts.

Do you know what year her second smokestack was added? I read that the South American get her second stack in 1924 (after a fire when she was changed from coal-burning to oil-burning).
