I joined the Royal Air Force at 17 years old in 1981 and ended up at Strike Command in High Wycombe. I got to know many like minded people who appreciated Jazz Funk and Soul, just like myself, and, "BOY" does this amazing track take me right back there. This classic is timeless and reminds me of a great life peppered with excellent friends and music that is yet to be surpassed.

The magnum opus of the jazz funk era of Level 42. Brilliant track and a brilliant album

The pinnacle of early 80's British jazz funk. Has stood the test of time very well.

I first became aware of Level 42 in 1986 when I was in the Air Force stationed at Bitburg Air base in Germany! A couple of higher ranking NCO's in my squadron introduced me to this group, and I've been a fan ever since!

Level 42 - das war meine Lieblings-Funk-Band in den Achzigern. 1986 hab ich sie Live gesehen beim Open-Air aufm Maimarkt, als Vorband für Queen. Danach wurde ich Queen-Fan.

I was a teenager in the early 80's and we had a family party. The DJ {who was a friend of my sister} played this. I remember asking him who this was and he gave me his copy! a 7" single. He also gave me a copy of "Don't tell me" by Central Line. That started my journey into British Jazz/funk & Soul and still loving it now.
