If anyone else would like to try clover also add done Dichondra seeds to the mix. They are just as gorgeous and are closer to the ground and will help the barren areas as they don’t mind the shadier spots. :)

Love this! Clover actually used to be a high value green in a yard, but when weed killer companies couldn’t develop a product that didn’t also kill clover, they started marketing that clover was undesirable, and it worked 😟. Cancel culture, boo! Your lawn is beautiful!!

Pro Tip: you never have to water a clover lawn if you can establish a healthy colony of leprechauns. Put a case of Guinness out during hot weather and let the boys give your yard a thorough soaking

This is so beautiful!! Your neighbors are for sure going to follow in your footsteps and have the greenest yards around. Clovers hold a special place in my heart from my childhood with my Pa before he passed. It has such a magical quality to it. ❤️❤️

You’ve inspired me to propose this to my parents. My dad has always been the one who mowed the lawn, but his health has seriously declined the past year, and he just can’t mow it as regularly anymore. They never cared about the lawn anyway, it doesn’t get watered, it’s full of weeds whatever wants to grow in it grows there. There’s even about a quarter acre in the back yard that’s basically all clover. But my parents have two acres, and for it to be entirely replaced by clover then it wouldn’t even need to be mowed! I wish we had thought of this years ago, could have saved so much time and money in gas not mowing it… all residential lawns should become clover (unless they’re replaced with food gardens which would be ideal). And they’re nitrogen fixing and feed pollinators! But food garden would be better. Imagine if everyone on your street replaced all the yard space save some for recreation with various vegetables and fruits. Then we could all share and trade to get most of our calories from it and no one would go hungry! The fallow “lawn” can rotate throughout the neighborhood and that can be the communal recreation green space

It’s cute! I’ve always loved clovers. If I had a lawn, it would end up clover because that just looks fantastic. So lush and green and good for the environment (as long as you get native clover species!)

Husband and I are hoping to move into a proper house soon and I will absolutely be getting rid of any lawn and replacing it with clover. This looks so magical and in California most lawns are so dead and ugly because of the drought that its not worth it. Plus this looks 100x better.
