We have a clover lawn and a friend and I once spent like 10 minutes looking for four leaf clovers and we found 15!

I was walking home from school one bad day and decided to look in a clover patch on the side of the road for a four-leaf clover. I kid you not, on a random day in a random patch on a random whim i found it within a minute of searching. I have it, dried, in a box 12 years later.
And I open it and look at it on bad days to remind me that following a stroke of inspiration can change your day for the better.
I think one of these days I’ll encase it in resin.

"Does clover make it difficult to see snakes?"
"I've never seen a snake before"

I’m not even going to lie I’ve once found like 12 four leaf clovers 2 five leaf clovers and 1 seven leaf clover all in a patch of clovers outside my middle school! It was right before a game and I gave one to everyone on the team!

I've found hundreds of four leaf clovers. They form when clovers mutate, usually due to pollutants like car exhaust. Not finding any in your lawn means your environment is nice and clean!

Snakes would sneak between clover not lay on top, but also aussie here so its a daily thought when warm

Clovers grow in patterns so you can look in an area where you don't step on the lawn too often and look for inconsistencies in the pattern.

I use clover in my raised vegetable garden beds. The roots feed the microbes in the soil, therefore naturally increasing nitrogen. Clover is a great living mulch. It keeps the soil cooler on hot summer days and protects the other plants well. Also cutting it down and letting the clippings decay is great compost for the soil.

snakes do get hidden by clover a bit, because theyre not usually thrown in the middle...but you can still spot them... if you are looking, yes we have to look here.

.from a drought living clover lawn aussie (who has had snakes in the yard sometimes)

My parents' old house had a big patch of clover in the back yard. It must have been a variety that was more prone to 4-leafing, because we could always find tons in only a few minutes of looking.

When I was like six me and my best friend, who was also my next-door neighbor, went searching in this very small clover patch that was not planted and we found 13 clovers, I kept them all on my bookshelf, but a few years later I accidentally vacuumed them all up😢

I Used To Have A Patch Of Only 4 Leaf Clovers In My Yard, They Ended Up Dying Off When Someone Cut The Patch Without Permission. It Always Had Over 30 Of Them Growing At A Time.

I knew a girl in middle school who found around a 5 leaf clover as well as at least 3 4 leaf clovers in the same year. I have never found one lol

The snake was easy to spot because it was thrown on top of the clovers, they probably wouldn’t do this.

Additionally, four leafed clovers are a mutation in regular clovers, and when you pick the clover, it removes that mutation from the gene pool, making it rarer

I used to have a clover patch that would always spawn a bunch of four leaf clovers hehe

If it helps we naturally have a lot of clover in my parents yard and we usually see the snakes… unless they are hiding in the trees

Just looked at this and one other of your videos and ordered a bag of the white perennial Dutch clover 🍀 seeds on Amazon to plant in all the bare spots of our lawn. Thanks for the inspiration. I hope the bunnies out there like it and can eat it too. 🤞

If there’s one 🍀, there are several more!! I used to go out collecting them—I’d decoupage them to something & hand them out to people at random… just an idea, if anyone else finds them often & doesn’t quite know what to do with them all 🤓
