Learn how to graph horizontal ellipse which equation is in general form. A horizontal ellipse is an ellipse which major axis is horizontal. When the equation of an ellipse is written in the general form, we first rewrite it in standard form using completing the square. After the equation has been rewritten in the standard form, we then graph the horizontal ellipse, by first identifying some of the properties of the ellipse including the major radius and the minor radius and the center. These properties enables us to graph the ellipse.
